Welcome and thank you for visiting the online home of The Life Church, located in District Heights, Maryland.  Our assignment is to minister to the whole man and woman by teaching Kingdom principles for daily application.  Through practical teaching, lives are empowered and energized.   Our ministry's foundation is based on Hebrews 4:12 which states, "for the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart".  We believe that the Word of God is able to penetrate the depth of the heart, mind, and soul of humanity, and prompt an earnest desire to draw closer to God. 

The Life Church is a ministry whereby all people, ages, and ethnicities are welcomed.  We especially seek after those unchurched, unsaved, hurt, and backslidden.  Praise and worship is encouraged as we believe that it is the channel that ushers us into the presence of God - where lives are changed and direction given.
